Overview

Emperor Ming, ruler of the planet Mongo, grows bored and decides to wreak havoc on Earth by triggering catastrophic natural disasters from afar. Meanwhile, on Earth, football star Flash Gordon's flight is disrupted by a deadly meteor strike, leading him and fellow passenger Dale Arden to crash-land into the greenhouse of Dr. Hans Zarkov, a former NASA scientist convinced that Earth's calamities are the result of extraterrestrial interference. With time running out, Zarkov coaxes Flash and Dale into his secret spacecraft, launching them all on a dangerous mission to Mongo in hopes of uncovering and stopping the source of the attacks. This is a colorful, high-stakes space opera packed with eccentric villains, reluctant heroes, and interplanetary intrigue.
