Overview

Upon her return to her estranged father's lavish French Riviera estate, wheelchair-using heiress Penny Appleby is met by her unfamiliar stepmother and unsettling news that her father has been called away on business. Jane, the stepmother, attempts to be cordial, but Penny’s suspicions are piqued when her father’s absence becomes increasingly mysterious.
