LUSTING HOURS

The Call-Girl racket... The thrill-seeking housewives... The Street-Walkers... This is their lurid story

1967 · 1h 13m · NR · Drama · IMDB TMDB

Different stories about prostitution. In a brothel, two women fight in front of the customers. In the meantime, everything is taking place in the building. Thus an erotic ritual degenerates into a complete orgy. A man is molested at home by a transvestite and a call girl comes into contact with psychedelic drugs.

Quick Answer
What is Lusting Hours about?

Lusting Hours is a 1967 American drama directed by Lem Amero and John Amero that presents a mockumentary-style exposé of prostitution and sexual deviance, moving between rural brothels, city streetwalkers, hustlers, and pornographers.

Synopsis

A smorgasbord of sexual deviance is on display in this Mondo-styled mockmentary from the golden age of sexploitation. The Lusting Hours is presented as an exposé of "sex for sale," and how it is peddled in its many forms. The films swings back and forth between rural brothels, where frankly unsophisticated local girls sell satisfaction to farmers and small-town businessmen; big city streetwalkers, who offer pleasure for pay to the dregs of society; male hustlers, who will dally with either men or women for the right paycheck; pornographers, who go from snapping cheesecake photos for fun to documenting increasingly kinky activities to support their voyeuristic habit; and sophisticated call girls whose supposedly glamorous life is at odds with the expense and risks of the flesh trade. Shot in stark black-and-white, The Lusting Hours includes appearances from sexploitation icons Michael and Roberta Findlay, under their aliases Julian Marsh and Anna Riva.
