Overview

Deep in the Florida Everglades, something unnatural lurks beneath the murky waters. When a local fisherman dies under mysterious circumstances, game warden Steve Benton is unconvinced by the official alligator story and begins an investigation. As more townsfolk vanish—some in the midst of scandalous affairs—the community grows frantic, blaming everything from marital strife to murder. But as search parties come up empty-handed, a chilling suspicion emerges: something else is responsible. With mounting disappearances and no bodies to be found, the sense of unease grows, and it's clear that the swamp hides a secret that’s far more menacing than any alligator. This is classic 1950s creature-feature territory, with all the small-town paranoia and monster movie mayhem you’d expect.
