Overview

Thirteen years after his initial rampage, Dr. Herbert West finds himself incarcerated, with only the prison medical center's limited resources at his disposal. Despite his confinement, West's obsession with conquering death hasn't faded. Using what little he can scrounge, he continues his experiments on rats and stumbles upon a breakthrough—Nano-Plasmic Energy, or NPE, a mysterious force extractable from the living and transferrable to the dead. This discovery promises to push his infamous re-animation process to new heights. The arrival of a new and curious prison doctor offers West fresh opportunities and the chance to take his unorthodox science far beyond rodents. But as ambition and science collide within the prison walls, the stage is set for unpredictable consequences.
