Tiny Tim in full clown regalia brings a genuinely bizarre menace that horror completists will savor. For slasher fans, Blood Harvest is a low-budget fever dream where small-town paranoia and grindhouse sleaze intersect in memorably oddball ways.

Overview

In Blood Harvest, college student Jill Robinson arrives back in her rural hometown only to discover her parents have vanished and their home has been ransacked. The tension in the town simmers, as the locals blame her banker father for the rash of farm foreclosures. Jill reconnects with her old friend Sarah and encounters her childhood neighbor Gary and his eccentric brother Merv, now living as 'The Marvelous Mervo'—a man who rarely removes his clown makeup. As Jill struggles to make sense of her parents’ disappearance and the coldness of the community, she soon finds herself stalked by an unknown presence while her friends begin to disappear. The film layers slasher conventions with offbeat characters, an unsettling rural atmosphere, and a deeply uneasy sense of homecoming.
