Programmer's Pick

The Naked Killers serves up a potent cocktail of island adventure, 1970s exploitation energy, and more than a hint of danger. Expect lush jungle settings, a clash of innocence and predation, and the kind of twisted treasure hunt only a Z-grade Spanish actioner can deliver.

Overview

The Naked Killers sets its story on a remote island where an old soldier, stranded since World War II, has raised three orphaned girls in isolation. As the years pass, these girls grow into self-reliant women, living in peace until a group of adventurers arrives on a sailboat, interrupting their secluded existence. Their initial wariness shifts as curiosity takes over, especially when one of the newcomers is injured and cared for by the girls. Relationships begin to form, but tension rises as the rest of the adventuring party, armed and suspicious, comes ashore to search for their missing companions. What began as an idyllic paradise quickly becomes fraught with unease, as the group's motives threaten the fragile harmony of the island.
