Overview

Set in a fog-shrouded, seedy vision of London, Seven Murders for Scotland Yard follows Bruno Doriani, a former trapeze artist whose career and body were shattered by an accident. Now limping through his days among the city's underbelly, Bruno finds himself entangled in a string of vicious murders targeting local prostitutes. As Inspector Campbell leads the investigation, suspicion falls on Bruno, thanks to his dubious connections to the victims and his increasingly erratic behavior. The police dub the mysterious killer 'Jack the Ripper,' invoking the infamous specter of the 19th-century murderer. With giallo-infused style and a London setting, the film weaves a blend of suspense, sleaze, and period menace.
Ending Explained Spoilers — click to reveal

Bruno and Inspector Campbell discover Wilson is the killer, finding his underground dungeon. The impotent murderer is ultimately stabbed by Bruno.

The film concludes with the exposure and defeat of the true killer, linking his crimes to deep psychological trauma and sexual frustration. Bruno's act of stabbing brings a grim justice, while the narrative cements its giallo credentials by focusing on psychosexual motives over mere whodunit mechanics.

Why Cult
