Overview

In the murky reaches of a rural American swamp, an ill-advised bout of dynamite fishing awakens something ancient and deadly beneath the surface. A green, bug-eyed monster—part gill creature, part prehistoric nightmare—emerges from its long slumber, its survival hinging on the blood of human females. As local fishermen start to disappear, biologist Ginny Glenn teams up with the determined Sheriff Rydholm to uncover the creature's evolutionary mystery and put an end to its bloody rampage. Campy and creature-feature to its core, Bog blends nature horror, small-town panic, and a dash of science to deliver a backwoods monster tale fueled by bad weather, bad decisions, and buckets of blood.
