Overview

Seventeen years after witnessing his grandfather's mysterious disappearance at the family’s northern Wisconsin lodge, Peter van Cleese returns to the scene with friends for the first time since that haunting event. The group arrives just as the local community gears up for "Muskie Madness," an annual fishing festival that turns the sleepy lakeside into a bustling hub of anglers and eccentric locals. As they settle into the lodge, they are met with a mix of local hostility and the unresolved trauma of Peter’s past. The film sets up a blend of backwoods horror and parody comedy, with the promise of slasher antics lurking beneath the surface of small-town festivities.
