Overview

Alberto Saporito is an eccentric sculptor in Naples whose imagination tends to blur the boundaries between fantasy and reality. After an encounter with the alluring Tania, Alberto dreams that his neighbor Amitrano has been murdered by his own family. Trusting his instincts—or perhaps his fantasies—he notifies the police, only to find himself entangled in a confusing web when the authorities refuse to believe he might have imagined the crime. As Amitrano, a known gangster, reappears and demands Alberto’s passport for a quick escape, Alberto and Tania find themselves compelled to leave Naples. The film weaves elements of comedy, crime, and fantasy into a tale of mistaken realities and unintended consequences, set against the backdrop of a bustling Italian city.
