Wealthy Agatha Bungworthy hires private detective Bernard Bingbang, known as "The Canary," to find her niece Cynthia Kingman, heir to a large fortune. Cynthia has a butterfly birthmark on her left breast. Bingbang is nearly killed during his search for Cynthia. He escapes Vultura, his would-be murderer, and attends a Hollywood strip party, but he turns up no leads. Bingbang learns that Agatha is actually a man, and that Bungworthy wants to kill Cynthia for her inheritance. The case comes to a frantic conclusion.
