He is best known for his performances in Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment (1985) and Police Academy 3: Back in Training (1986), where he portrayed the bumbling Cmdt. Mauser. Metrano's career spans various genres, including his appearances in Slaughter's Big Rip-Off (1973) and Breathless (1983).
