Diane Robin, born in 1966 in Los Angeles, brings her dynamic presence to the cult classic Retribution (1987), where she navigates the film's gritty landscape. Trained at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, Diane's early ambition led her to sneak onto the Universal lot, ultimately landing her a manager who recognized her potential. With a career spanning over 120 productions, she has appeared alongside notable actors and directors, but her role in Retribution remains a standout in her filmography, embodying the raw energy of 1980s exploitation cinema.
Retribution
On Halloween, two men both die at the same time: George Miller commits suicide by jumping from a hotel roof, and Vito Minelli angers the mob when he can't pay off his gambling debts. When George is revived and nursed back to health, he begins to have nightmares about Vito's life. His psychiatrist, Dr. Curtis, thinks that he's mentally ill, but Lt. Ashley believes that he's responsible for a series of brutal murders. George eventually discovers that he's been possessed by Vito, who has been killing the gangsters responsible for his own death.
