Born in Rome in 1923, Mario Brega was an Italian character actor whose imposing stature made him a memorable presence in cult cinema. He debuted in the early 1960s with Eighteen in the Sun (1962) and went on to portray thuggish characters in films such as Buffalo Bill, Hero of the Far West (1964) and An Angel for Satan (1966). His versatility also shone in later works like Convoy Buddies (1975) and The Last Round (1976), where he showcased a blend of humor and grit that defined his unique contributions to the genre.
