In a desolate and war ridden country, three young women are on the run from a gang of armed militia. Fortunately the girls stumble across a house in the middle of a frozen forest. The house is occupied by a strange but attractive widow, who hides the girls in the basement. As the gang approaches the house, one girl fails to make it to the basement in time and has to hide in an old trunk. The gang leader Jacob, discovers the girl but to the widows surprise he hides her from the other gang members. The widow's initial relief is shattered when she discovers that he has saved the girl and herself at the price of sexual servitude.
