Sun Chien
Born in 1955 in Taiwan, Sun Chien rose to prominence in the martial arts genre through his roles in films like Crippled Avengers (1978) and Ninja and the Warriors of Fire (1987). A product of the Shaw Brothers studio, he became known as one of the 5 Venoms, often collaborating with director Chang Cheh. His performances are marked by a blend of action and charisma, contributing significantly to the cult status of these films. After a successful stint in Hong Kong cinema, he transitioned to action directing before retiring in the early 90s.
