From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Clive Barker (born 5 October 1952) is an English author, film director and visual artist best known for his work in both fantasy and horror fiction. Barker came to prominence in the mid-1980s with a series of short stories which established him as a leading young horror writer. He has since written many novels and other works, and his fiction has been adapted into motion pictures, notably the Hellraiser and Candyman series. Underworld
Dr. Savary (Elliott), a sinister biochemist, has created a subhuman species that dwells in the London Underground. Addicted to Savary's mind-expanding drug, his creations suffer from grotesque disfigurements. The victims' only hope for an antidote lies in kidnapping Nicole (Cowper), a high-class prostitute. Roy Bain (Lamb), a fearless adventurer and Nicole's former lover, is hired to save her. When high class hooker Nicole is kidnapped from her brothel, Rich businessman Hugo Motherskille hires her ex love Roy Bain to find her.
