Andrew Bergman (born February 20, 1945) is an American screenwriter, film director, and novelist. New York magazine in 1985 dubbed him "The Unknown King of Comedy". He graduated from Binghamton University and earned a Ph.D. in American history from the University of Wisconsin. Bobby Fine is an intellectual English professor whom departs his task when his father Jack appeals to him for help. A garment maker, Jack is within severe financial obligation to humongous mortgage shark Eddie, and he desperately requires his company to provide the capital to pay Eddie right back. Completely by accident, Bobby invents the answer to his father’s problem: see-through demin blue jeans with strategically put holes within the back that expose one’s rear. The fickle public goes crazy covering the “sexy” new style, and the money begins moving in, but Bobby exacerbates his father’s issues greatly whenever he falls for and starts dating the amorous Lira, whose spouse is none various other than Eddie!!
