Dan Haggerty, born in Los Angeles, California, made a significant impact in the world of cult cinema throughout the 1970s. He is best known for his role in Easy Rider (1969), where he embodied the free-spirited essence of the era. Haggerty's rugged persona continued to shine in films like Angels Die Hard (1970) and Bury Me an Angel (1972), where he navigated the gritty landscapes of biker culture and exploitation cinema. His performances in Chrome and Hot Leather (1971) and Sleazy Rider (1973) solidified his status as a staple in the grindhouse genre.
Pink Angels
Six rough and tumble motor cyclists meet at the side of an empty highway to plan their adventurous excursion cycling to Los Angeles. The burly bunch are Michael (John Alderman), David (Tom Basham), Henry (Bob Bihiller), Arnold (Bruce Kimbal), Eddie (Henry Olek) and Ronnie (Maurice Warfield). They're deceptive: although they look like the adventure addicted non-conformists of today out to raise Hell as they brawl their way over countryside and local towns, actually the six are on a different type of trip to the City of the Angels.
