Quite a lot of people say that this movie is terrible but what they are failing to realise is that this film was shot in 1983 and released in 1984 so for its time it is pretty good. Of course if you have never seen it in your life and then in the 21st century you watch it for the first time you are not going to give it top marks as you are used to all the latest effects and make up. I watched it when I was very young (about 7 years old) in the late 80's and thought it was fantastic - what kid wouldn't - I then saw it for sale and thought I would give it another go 18 years later. I too thought it was not that wonderful and I thought the effects were rubbish but I realised how old the movie was and the fact that one of the greatest movie legends of all time stars in the movie so I gave it 9/10.

I thought this was one of the best "Howling" movies made. It certainly shows the culture of the 80s with the outfits and attitudes. It's erotic and dark and everything a b-flick should be!
