Overview

Frank Bigelow, a no-nonsense accountant from Banning, California, seeks a little escape with a solo trip to San Francisco—much to the dismay of his devoted secretary. His vacation takes a sinister turn after he unwittingly drinks a poisoned cocktail at a nightclub, leaving him with the grim news that he has only days to live. With no antidote for the rare 'luminous toxin' in his system, Bigelow’s only hope is to uncover who wanted him dead and why. Told in flashback from the moment he reports his own murder to the police, the film weaves through nightclub intrigue, shadowy cityscapes, and a mounting sense of desperation as Bigelow tries to solve the mystery before his time runs out.
