Overview

On the remote and mysterious Blood Island, a naked woman is hunted and killed by a green-skinned, manlike beast. Meanwhile, a ship delivers new arrivals: pathologist Bill Foster, seeking the cause of a strange chlorophyll disease; Sheila Willard, hoping to reconnect with her troubled father; and Carlos Lopez, intent on persuading his mother to leave the island. The islanders whisper of a deadly curse, and stories circulate about a man with green blood who vanished into the sea. As the newcomers contend with personal struggles and elusive answers from the local doctor, an undercurrent of fear grows—rooted in the jungle, and in the island’s buried secrets.
