Proof that Dracula’s real curse might just be a taste for late-’60s American sleaze.

Programmer's Pick

This isn’t your classic cape-and-fang Dracula—Alucard is out for blood, laughs, and a fair share of nudity, with a jackal-faced henchman leading virgins to his lair. William Edwards gleefully mixes monster movie lore with bawdy late-’60s humor, making for a horror-comedy that’s more randy than gothic.

In the fight that follows, Mike is killed, and Alucard is destroyed by sunlight.

Why Cult

Lecherous Dracula Descendant

Alucard, Dracula's not-so-noble heir, brings vampiric debauchery to American soil with a taste for virgins.

Jackal-Man Sidekick

The lycanthropic Jackal-man, servant to Alucard, adds a hairy twist to the usual vampire formula.

Nudity and Camp
