Overview

Set in the raucous backwoods beyond Tobacco Road, Tobacco Roody invites viewers into a world where the moonshine flows as freely as the amorous adventures. Mose Mason, a moonshiner with a taste for mischief, gets cozy with his platinum-blonde niece Tootie, while Southern belles Lulu-Mae and Carolina prefer skinny-dipping and each other's company. Mose's wife has her own hands full, entertaining a nosy sheriff and bartering with the landlord in unorthodox ways. Not to be outdone, a trio of inebriated farm boys arrive to sample both the local hooch and the Mason daughters. This comedy revels in its bawdy, hixploitation antics, serving up a ribald slice of rural Americana where no one is too bashful and everyone is ready for a romp.
