But when Frank's friend, dissector Mary Connor, becomes deadly sick, he suspects there's even more to it.

Synopsis

A maniac killer targets a high-tech hospital's patients. After a series of unexplained deaths in the Dodson Medical Clinic, Dr Dodson (David McCallum) blames Dr Frank Holt (Joe Spano) for the latest death. Frank seeks the truth behind the deaths but does not know that the master computer was given an override command, causing his patient to die of an overdose. Pathologist Mary O'Connor (Ellen Barkin) is the computer's latest victim and panic grips the hospital as Frank leads the race against time to find the fiend behind the murders. He faces a life and death battle with the deranged Dr Dodson to stop his reign of terror.
