Programmer's Pick

If you thought your morning commute was rough, wait until you meet this car—no driver, no mercy, and absolutely no regard for crosswalks. The Car blends supernatural chills with pedal-to-the-metal action, all set against the dusty backdrop of small-town Utah.

Overview

In the fictional Utah town of Santa Ynez, a sleek, matte black coupe suddenly appears and begins a string of fatal hit-and-runs, stalking cyclists, hitchhikers, and anyone unlucky enough to cross its path. The local sheriff's office scrambles for answers, especially after discovering the vehicle has no license plates and an unnerving, custom build. The car seems to target its victims deliberately, evading witnesses and authorities with uncanny skill. As fear grips the desert community, Captain Wade Parent finds himself leading the investigation against this relentless, seemingly driverless menace. This is a brooding, supernatural-tinged car movie where the pavement—and the body count—keep piling up.
