Overview

Dr. Tom Anderson, a disillusioned scientist, makes radio contact with a mysterious Venusian creature whose real plan is to take over Earth by enslaving humanity using mind control. The alien claims its peaceful intentions, promising to eliminate all emotions for the sake of global harmony, and Anderson becomes its willing accomplice—despite the risks to his own wife and friends. As the creature throws the world into chaos by disabling all electric power, and strange flying bat-like devices stalk the unwary, those untouched by its influence must find a way to resist. This 1950s B-movie classic delivers a blend of paranoia, sci-fi speculation, and creature-feature suspense, all served with a generous helping of low-budget charm.
