Overview

Yor, the Hunter from the Future opens on a muscular, axe-wielding barbarian named Yor as he traverses a barren, prehistoric landscape dotted with the striking stone towers of Cappadocia. In a nearby village, cavewoman Kalaa and her protector Pag are on a hunt when a bizarre dinosaur hybrid attacks. Yor leaps into action, dispatching the beast with brute force and earning the gratitude of the villagers. Their celebration is short-lived: a violent raid by blue-skinned cavemen scatters the survivors, forcing Yor and Pag to escape. As Yor swears to rescue Kalaa, the film sets up a pulpy world where primitive survival, strange creatures, and relentless battles collide in a blend of sword-and-sorcery and wild sci-fi elements.
