Overview

In Lovers of Devil’s Island, passions and betrayals run rampant behind the bars of a remote prison. When Governor Mendonza confesses to lawyer Lindsay on his deathbed that lovers Raymond Franval and Beatriz Coblan were framed for murder, a tangled web of jealousy, lust, and manipulation is revealed. Mendonza’s own unrequited feelings for Beatriz set off a chain of events involving his lover Emilia, whose affair with her godson Raymond ends in scandal. Raymond and Beatriz are condemned to life sentences on Devil’s Island, imprisoned in separate wings of a notorious institution. As Lindsay visits his clients, he encounters Rosa, an inmate with her own story, setting the stage for revelations from within the women’s prison.
