Programmer's Pick

Where else can you watch jewel thieves in hot pants try to outsmart a moonshiner with a steel trap—and lose their shirts in more ways than one? This is drive-in mayhem at its most unrefined, with a cast as wild as the Carolina backwoods.

Overview

A million-dollar jewelry heist sends four desperate thieves fleeing through the winding roads of the Carolinas, only to be stranded when their jeep sputters out of gas. Their luck seems to turn when a local moonshiner and his wife offer them shelter at an isolated farm. But this rural hideout is no safe haven—lust, suspicion, and double-crosses quickly sour the arrangement. As alliances shift and tempers flare, the group’s refuge turns treacherous, with both the moonshiner’s young wife and rumors of hidden fortune fueling the tension. Demented Death Farm Massacre blends backwoods grit, hixploitation quirks, and a streak of campy menace in a rural setting where everyone has something to hide—and something to lose.
