Overview

In rural Northern California, Ingrid, a young Swedish woman living with her American uncle, finds her already fragile world shattered after a local girl is murdered with a pair of scissors. The unsettling crime leaves the townsfolk suspicious and on edge, especially as Ingrid herself becomes the target of a masked attack. Struggling with vivid memories of childhood abuse and her mother’s tragic fate, Ingrid’s sense of reality begins to blur. As new faces in the church choir stir up further complications, and attacks continue, Ingrid’s isolation and fear deepen. Haunts weaves a moody, psychological horror that blends rural unease, personal trauma, and small-town suspicion.
