Programmer's Pick

A French giallo that swaps shadows for silk, Girl Slaves of Morgana Le Fay is a fever-dream of lesbian desire served in a gothic fantasy setting. Between the magic rings, glamour rituals, and copious lingerie, Bruno Gantillon’s vision takes classic sorcery and dips it in pure velvet sleaze.

Overview

Two young women, Anna and Françoise, end up stranded in rural France after their car runs out of gas near a peculiar village. Forced to spend the night in a barn, their intimate evening is interrupted when Anna vanishes by morning. Françoise is soon guided by a mysterious dwarf through a magical forest to a mist-shrouded lake, then ferried by an enchanted canoe to a lavish castle inhabited by scantily clad women. Overseen by the enigmatic Morgana le Fay and her procurer Gurth, Françoise becomes entwined in a strange world where love, beauty, and time bend to the whims of their sorceress host. The film unfolds within an atmosphere steeped in erotic mystique, glamour, and the supernatural.
