Overview

When industry mogul Morgan Hunnicut commissions Professor Wassermann to lead an expedition to Newfoundland, the goal is to investigate a colossal Yeti found entombed in ice. Unknown to the professor, Hunnicut’s real aim is to use the creature as a corporate mascot for his global conglomerate. Joining the adventure are company man Cliff Chandler and Hunnicut’s grandchildren, Jane and Herbie—the latter haunted and rendered mute by the tragic loss of his parents. As the team thaws the prehistoric beast, the Yeti awakens, disturbed by the glare of modern technology, setting off a chain of events that tests the boundaries between science, commerce, and the unknown. Set against a Canadian backdrop, this film blends monster spectacle with family drama and corporate intrigue.
