Billy Gray

Born 1938 · Los Angeles, California, USA · Active 1943–2021

Born in Los Angeles in 1938, Billy Gray gained fame as the all-American teen Bud Anderson in the 1950s. Transitioning from his earlier television successes, he appeared in The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951) as the curious youth exploring alien encounters, demonstrating his versatility beyond sitcoms. Gray later took on a more adventurous role in Werewolves on Wheels (1971), a cult classic that combines horror and biker culture. His contributions to genre films reflect a fascinating side of 1960s and 70s American entertainment.
