Overview

Dr. Andreas Valenti is a respected surgeon with a dark side—his misogynistic tendencies complicate his personal life, especially when an accident involving a deadly metal flower sculpture leads to his girlfriend Daniella’s untimely death. In the aftermath, Valenti finds himself the center of suspicion, particularly from Daniella’s half-sister Evelyne, who tips off Inspector Garrano. As blackmail and backstabbing unfold, the film weaves a deliberate and stylish giallo mystery. With its distinctive pacing, strong performances, and a now-notorious underwater lesbian scene, this underappreciated Euro horror delivers a cocktail of intrigue, sexuality, and calculated suspense typical of early '70s Italian thrillers.
