Programmer's Pick

Between bare-knuckle brawls and bubble baths, Jeannie Bell's T.N.T. Jackson doesn’t just break bones—she breaks genre rules. This is blaxploitation with a Manila kick, and you’ll never look at a suitcase or a Zippo lighter the same way.

Overview

Diana Jackson—known as T.N.T.—is a tough, streetwise woman with a talent for karate and a long history with the law. When her brother is murdered by drug dealers, she heads into the heart of Chinatown alone, determined to expose the killers and deliver justice on her own terms. T.N.T. refuses assistance from the authorities, but accepts the help of Joe, a skilled martial artist who becomes her ally. Along the way, she encounters a cast of underworld figures, including the white drug lord Sid, his formidable girlfriend Elaine, the calculating Ming, and Charlie, an ambitious criminal associate.
