Overview

When Hercules returns to find his village destroyed and his wife murdered by the army of Ecalia, he sets out for vengeance against those responsible. The political machinations in Ecalia, led by the ambitious courtier Licos, complicate his quest as he encounters Queen Deianira, who is herself caught in the aftermath of the king's death. Deianira offers herself as a sacrifice to Hercules in hopes of sparing her people, but Hercules’s sense of justice prevails. Ancient Greece serves as the backdrop for a world of betrayal, oracles, and royal intrigue, as fate entangles Hercules and Deianira. With a blend of myth, muscle, and melodrama, this film delivers classic sword-and-sandals spectacle.
