SAMAR
In 1870, in the Spanish Philippines, the commandant of an island penal colony, aided by an American doctor and local villagers, decides to relocate his coastal camp to a fertile valley inland but the arduous trek is fraught with dangers and battle headhunters.
About This Film
Dr. Saunders is imprisoned on the island of Samar by politics. The military commander of the area need a doctor to help civilians move inland. The march will be tough; must fight headhunters and mosquitoes, in one of the densest jungles and dangerous. Along the way they discover a lost city in the jungle.
