Programmer's Pick

David Janssen’s Tom Alder is the classic gumshoe—sharp, stubborn, and always poking into business the cops left cold. With vanished heiresses, Hollywood secrets, and a fan club office full of clues, this is vintage whodunit territory with all the right shadows.
