Overview

Major Bill Allison, a United States Air Force test pilot in 1960, takes an experimental aircraft on a pioneering sub-orbital flight. When he returns, his familiar airbase is eerily deserted, and a strange, futuristic city looms nearby. Soon, Allison is captured and taken to the Citadel—a dystopian underground society led by the enigmatic Supreme, where most inhabitants are deaf-mute and sterile. Isolated and confused, he grapples with his captors' suspicion and the unsettling telepathy of Princess Trirene. Immersed in a world ravaged by calamity and cosmic radiation, Allison must navigate a society burdened by paranoia and desperate for hope, as he unravels his role in their uncertain future.
