Programmer's Pick

Ilsa trades in her Nazi fatigues for desert silks, but she’s still the queen of sadistic spectacle—now with more silicone and even less mercy. Grindhouse fans seeking the outer limits of sexploitation excess will find this one goes all-in on its harem horrors and bizarre punishments.

Overview

In the sun-scorched deserts of the Middle East, three Western women—an heiress, a film star, and an equestrian—are delivered in crates to the decadent harem of Sheikh El-Sharif. Presided over by the formidable Ilsa, the harem promises luxury but enforces strict obedience and submission. While El-Sharif indulges his desires and plots business with visiting Americans, the new arrivals resist their captivity. Ilsa, both feared and respected, maintains order with a mix of seduction and cruelty, navigating palace intrigues, power plays, and the ever-present threat of revolt. This is a film steeped in exploitation, female domination, and grindhouse excess, exploring the dark dynamics of power and survival within a lavish, oppressive world.
