Synopsis
Why Cult
The plot kicks off with a seventeenth-century witch burning and a supernatural curse that haunts the town's clergy generations later.
A witch's revenge leads to the vicar’s, ahem, persistent problem—a comedic premise that plays out with plenty of awkward encounters.
Expect R-rated antics, female nudity, and irreverent humor as the townsfolk try to break the vicar’s curse.
Set in the 1810s, the film mixes local Swedish color with period costumes and rural mischief.
