Overview

In the tropical Philippines, a covert laboratory’s experiments with a serum known as Death One are about to go wrong. The formula is designed to reanimate the dead, but after a violent test subject springs back to life, the lead scientist tries to bow out. Plans for a quiet handover are shattered when rival gunmen storm the lab, and a botched escape leads to the prized serum leaking during a bloody pursuit. Despite initial assurances, the virus’s real danger emerges when a terrorist’s contaminated body is cremated by the US military, unwittingly releasing the infection into the island’s atmosphere. From here, the stage is set for a grisly, contagion-fueled nightmare.
