Description

Patricia Prescott (Judith Marie-Bergen), the daughter of a real estate mogul, is kidnapped from her home by an African American ex-convict, Dorian "Dory" Palmer (David Pendleton), and his cohort, Frank Lawson (Gregory Rozakis).

At a press conference held at their mansion, Mr. and Mrs. Prescott beg for their daughter's safe return.

Meanwhile, Frank and Dory enlist the help of their female comrades, Angela "Angie" Ray (Presley Caton) and Carol Barley (Catherine Lacy), as they keep watch over Patricia at a secret hideout. The men untie Patricia and force her to read a written statement before a video camera, announcing that she is a political prisoner and will be executed if her father does not arrange for the destruction of his new real estate venture, the Park Towers apartment complex. Next, Frank begins to rape Patricia but soon stops, disgusted by the act. Taking Frank's place, Dory moves in front of the camera and rapes her.

Patricia's boyfriend, Michael, goes to meet Mr. Prescott, who blames Michael for failing to protect Patricia. Hoping to shed light on the kidnapping, Michael suggests that it may be connected to one of Patricia's friends, Ted, who taught convicts and befriended one of them after his release from prison. Describing the ex-convict as an African American radical, Michael says Patricia once attended a party at which the former prisoner and two of his friends raped Ted's girlfriend, Marcia, in front of a crowd of party-goers. Michael says Patricia told him about the rape as if she was more intrigued than repulsed. Offended, Prescott sends Michael away.

Later, Patricia asks Dory how he can pretend to care about the world and be a rapist at the same time.

Prescott receives the videotape of Patricia's rape and watches in disgust.

When two FBI agents question Frank's friend, Jake Horowitz, Frank assures the group that Jake knows nothing.

One day, Patricia admits to Angie that she was always made to feel separate from other people because of her father's wealth and power, and Angie admits that she disliked Patricia from afar before the group took her hostage.

Frank sets up the video camera and gives Patricia another message to read, stating that the Park Tower complex, a luxury condominium building, was partly financed by a government grant for low-income housing units. Shaken up, Patricia reads the warning that Park Towers must be destroyed or she will be killed, then asks to return to her bedroom. Dory orders Patricia to have sex with Carol, but Patricia resists, offering to have sex with Dory instead.

At Dory's command, Carol approaches Patricia, who reluctantly removes her clothes while Dory films the two women. Later, on her way to the bathroom, Patricia spies Dory lying on his bed and longingly stares at him. After Mr. Prescott watches the videotape of Patricia and Carol, he informs his wife that Patricia is no longer their daughter.

On a drive into town. Angie suggests to her male cohorts that Patricia only has an allegiance to Dory, while, at the hideout, Patricia tells Carol that she feels newly free, and Carol attests that being a part of the group has given her a sense of belonging for the first time in her life. Meanwhile, Jake Horowitz identifies a picture of Angie to the police.

Patricia later tells Dory about her father's corrupt business practices and agrees to record the information on videotape, but demands to make love to Frank and Dory first. Prescott arranges for Park Towers to be destroyed, and the building's detonation is aired on a news report, which names the revolutionaries as suspects in Patricia's abduction. Incensed, Frank deduces that Jake provided their names to police. Patricia says she cannot go back to her father and wants to be of use, but Frank does not trust her. When he asks if she could kill or risk her life for them, Patricia admits she does not know. Responding to false information from Jake, the police raid a house, only to find an elderly couple in their kitchen.

At the hideout, Dory receives a phone call and instructs Frank to leave with Carol and Angie, saying he and Patricia will follow separately. As Dory and Patricia stay behind, two undercover police burst in and hold Dory at gunpoint. Feigning relief, Patricia says "Thank God," then produces a rifle and shoots both policemen dead.
