Overview

Extremities opens with Marjorie, a young museum worker in Los Angeles, enduring a harrowing attack at knifepoint by a masked assailant who forces her into a traumatic encounter. Though she escapes, the justice system offers little help, leaving her vulnerable and anxious. The situation escalates when her attacker tracks her down using stolen personal information, invading the home she shares with her two female roommates. With the threat now inside her own sanctuary, Marjorie is forced to confront her assailant directly. As the narrative shifts from survival to confrontation, the film examines themes of power, agency, and the blurred lines between justice and revenge in a suspenseful, psychologically intense atmosphere.
