Programmer's Pick

When Charles Bronson has to babysit Jill Ireland’s prickly First Lady, sparks (and bullets) fly. Expect political paranoia, tongue-in-cheek chase scenes, and enough exploding vehicles to make D.C. traffic look tame.

Overview

Jay Killian, a veteran Secret Service agent, returns from sick leave only to find himself reassigned from Presidential protection to the much less desirable post of guarding the First Lady, Lara Royce Craig. Lara is every bit the challenging charge: demanding, dismissive, and determined to make Killian's job impossible. As she disregards his security protocols and attempts to escape his watchful eye, Killian's skills are put to the test—especially as it becomes increasingly obvious that someone wants Lara dead. Set against the backdrop of Washington D.C. on the eve of a new presidency, this action-thriller mixes political intrigue with sharp banter and escalating danger, as duty and distrust collide.
