Overview

Newlyweds Ted and Margie Hastings are looking forward to their honeymoon at Margie’s uncle’s hotel, but marital bliss takes a nosedive when Ted’s childhood obsession with Mother Goose gets in the way of consummation. Margie’s attempt to ease his nerves by reading nursery rhymes has the opposite effect—sending Ted into a faint. Enter Dr. Richards, a psychiatrist with unconventional treatments: an LSD spray administered while Ted sleeps. This psychedelic intervention has Ted blurring the lines between reality and fairy tale, while a suspicious hotel detective adds to the chaos, convinced that Ted is up to no good. A slapstick, raunchy, and totally off-kilter comedy ensues.
