Description

There is usually at least one snake in a jungle adventure movie, and this one is no exception. It's a cheesy jungle adventure movie, one of many such movies that became popular in the 1950s in which a group of attractive women run around in the jungle with spears and very little clothing chasing men. The wild women in this movie are called the Ulama Girls, and they're also known as the White Sirens of Africa, because of their white skin. When they find a man, they capture him and force him to fight one of the strongest women. If he wins, he is considered strong enough for the queen to take as a husband. The losers are sacrificed to the Fire God and burned alive.

After two men on safari rescue him, a hunter named Trent tells them about his life as a boy in Africa. He and his playmates were chased into their cabin by a leopard, when the leopard jumped onto the roof and scared a python that was on the roof into dropping down through the roof onto the floor. The kids were scared of the snake so they climbed up to the roof to get away from it. After that he sees one of the Ulama Girls up on a ridge and becomes determined to find them when he grows up. I can't blame him. He was on safari searching for the wild women when his native porters deserted him and he became lost and disoriented and then was rescued. He convinces the two hunters who rescued him to continue the search for the Ulama with him, but when they find the women they are outnumbered and overpowered and taken prisoners. That gives us the opportunity to watch the wild women do a stimulating ritual dance to the fire god and then fight each other over the men.
