Overview

Set against the eerie backdrop of the Arizona desert, Haunted opens in the Civil War era with the unjust banishment of Abanaki, a young Native American woman accused of witchcraft. Over a century later, the ghosts of the past return to torment a family renovating the site into a movie ranch. College student Patrick and his brother Russell, along with their recently blinded mother Michelle, become entangled in a web of superstitions and suspicions. The arrival of a mysterious British traveler and a new phone booth in the ranch’s cemetery only deepen the sense of unease, as unexplained events begin to mount and the line between past and present starts to blur.
